Melly Luistert: how do we handle your answers?

Anonymous. We don't ask for your name, email or other details, and we don't store your IP address. There's no account and no tracking cookies.

You're talking to an AI assistant. It asks Melly's questions and sometimes asks one follow-up.

Names are removed. If you mention a name or describe someone recognisably, it is removed automatically before anyone sees your answer.

Speaking. If you speak your answer, the recording is turned into text on our own server and then deleted straight away.

Who processes your answer? Kunstinstituut Melly. To understand your text we use an AI service based in the EU. It only receives text without names, does not keep it, and does not use it to train AI.

Why? To learn what works well and what could be better about a visit to Melly, and to fix problems quickly.

How long? We keep answers for up to 24 months. After that we keep totals only.
